No. Our programme is designed for anyone who makes consequential decisions on behalf of an organisation — that includes vice presidents, managing directors, division heads, and founders. The common thread is not title but scope of impact. If a misjudgement on your part can cost your organisation six figures or more, this programme is built for you.
Most Executive training teaches you what to think. We train you how to decide.
Your last leadership programme gave you frameworks. Ours gives you the cognitive architecture to know which framework applies — and when to abandon all of them. Based in Galway, delivered wherever your boardroom sits.
Request your leadership diagnosticAnswer five questions honestly
- When did you last change your mind about something important — and tell your team?
- Can you describe your decision-making process in under thirty seconds, without using the word "data"?
- How many of your direct reports would disagree with you in a meeting if they believed you were wrong?
- What was the last strategic bet you made that had no precedent in your industry?
- If your calendar disappeared tomorrow, which recurring meetings would you genuinely recreate?
If any of those made you uncomfortable, that discomfort is the starting point. Most executive development programmes begin with competency models and 360-degree feedback. We begin with the assumptions you have never examined.
Executive Vision Builders was founded on a single observation: the leaders who stall are not lacking knowledge. They are trapped inside decision patterns that once worked but now cost them clarity, speed, and the trust of the people around them.
Our programmes do not add more tools to an already overloaded toolkit. Instead, we strip away the cognitive habits that slow you down and rebuild your capacity to judge situations with fresh precision. That process is uncomfortable, measurable, and — according to ninety-one per cent of past participants — the most valuable professional experience of their career.
Four phases, twelve weeks, one transformation
Phase one — Exposure
We spend the first fortnight mapping your current decision architecture. Through structured interviews, real-time shadowing, and cognitive profiling, we surface the invisible patterns that govern how you evaluate risk, delegate authority, and allocate attention. No questionnaires. No personality types. Just direct observation of how you actually lead when nobody is scoring you.
Phase two — Disruption
Weeks three through six introduce controlled disorientation. We place you in unfamiliar decision contexts — cross-industry simulations, adversarial scenario planning, and live negotiation exercises designed to break your default heuristics. The goal is not stress-testing; it is revealing the gap between how you believe you decide and how you actually do.
Phase three — Reconstruction
With old patterns visible and loosened, weeks seven through ten are spent building new cognitive infrastructure. You will develop a personal decision protocol calibrated to your role, your industry tempo, and the specific failure modes we identified in phase one. This is not a generic model — it is a bespoke system you can articulate, teach, and audit.
Phase four — Integration
The final two weeks focus on embedding new habits into your real operating rhythm. We work alongside you in live meetings, board preparations, and strategic reviews, providing real-time coaching as you apply the reconstructed decision framework. After the programme ends, you receive three follow-up sessions over the next quarter to prevent regression.
What changes when decision-making improves
Aggregated data from seven cohorts between 2021 and 2025. All figures represent median improvement measured six months after programme completion.
What prospective participants ask us
Expect to invest between six and eight hours per week. Roughly half of that is embedded into your existing work — we coach inside your real meetings and decisions rather than pulling you away to a classroom. The remaining hours involve structured reflection exercises and one-to-one sessions with your assigned cognitive coach.
Phases one and four require in-person presence — either at our Galway facility or at your offices. Phases two and three can be delivered in a hybrid format, though participants who complete the full programme on-site report stronger outcomes. We have worked with leaders across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and continental Europe.
Traditional coaching is conversational and open-ended. Our programme is structured, time-bound, and focused specifically on decision-making mechanics. We do not explore your childhood or your values — we observe, measure, and rebuild the cognitive processes you use to evaluate options and commit to action. Think of it as physiotherapy for your judgement.
Pricing depends on the delivery format and whether we embed at your location. We provide a detailed proposal after the initial diagnostic conversation. To give you a frame: past participants have described the investment as comparable to a senior hire's first-quarter salary — and significantly more impactful.
Both. Our core programme is individual, but we offer a parallel track for leadership teams of three to seven people. The team format adds a collective decision-mapping layer that reveals how group dynamics amplify or distort individual judgement. Many organisations start with one individual and expand to the team format after seeing results.
